What skills and experience we're looking for
In our Early Years and primary setting, we currently offer two pathways of learning specific to pupil need, and we encourage our pupils to develop the qualities of our school values: Respect, Resilience, Confidence, Motivation, Aspiration and Integrity.
We are seeking to appoint from September 2026, two enthusiastic Teachers to support and develop our diverse and complex cohort of pupils in our primary setting. The school has developed a supportive and nurturing provision and environment for pupils with complex special educational needs and we require an experienced practitioner to add their skills and knowledge to the work of our existing dedicated and highly skilled team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• A passion for teaching and learning and a sound subject knowledge, that can be utilised to challenge all pupils.
• The ability to motivate, inspire and stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment across all aspects of the primary curriculum.
• The ability to be an excellent classroom practitioner with creative teaching skills.
• High expectations of all pupils.
• Up to date knowledge of SEND and the curriculum.
• Good team skills.
• Experience of teaching pupils with significant and complex special educational needs.
• Experience and knowledge of supporting pupils with their communication and sensory processing needs.

A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants of teaching roles who may undertake teaching work. All staff will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check for both children and adults.
