Contract: Full Time and Part- Time Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Days & Nights Available Contracted hours: Full Time and Part Time

Hazelbrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built commissioning care home located in Leicester. The home offers specialist and complex care for up to 80 residents across four 20 bed bungalow style households. Designed to support calm, therapeutic living, the home provides high quality care for people living with advanced dementia, complex nursing needs and mental health conditions in a safe and supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Full time and part time contracts available
  • Dayshift and nightshift available
  • Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided, Onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a commissioning care home and be part of a team delivering high quality, person centred care from the very beginning. As a Care Assistant, you will support residents living with advanced dementia, complex nursing needs and mental health conditions, helping to create a calm, safe and supportive environment where individuals feel valued and respected.

You will assist residents with daily routines including personal care, mobility, nutrition and social engagement, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity at all times. Working closely with nurses and the wider care team, you will monitor residents’ wellbeing, respond to their needs and contribute to a therapeutic environment that supports comfort and quality of life.

This role is suitable for both experienced care assistants and those new to care who are looking to begin a rewarding career in a supportive and specialist setting. Full support and guidance will be provided to help you develop your skills and confidence.

  • Reliable, patient and professional attitude
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
