Job Introduction

Sodexo is seeking a skilled and motivated ChefSupervisor to lead and support the delivery of high-quality catering services. In this role, you will oversee the full food lifecycle—from goods receipt and storage through to preparation and service—ensuring exceptional standards, outstanding customer service, and full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmental regulations.

What you’ll do:

•Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness fromdelivery through to service.

•Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and environmentalregulations, including accurate completion of all HACCP documentation.

•Lead, supervise, and support the catering team—delegating tasks effectively andfostering a positive, professional working culture.

•Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring all areas are safe, clean, andwell-organised at all times.

•Manage ordering, stock control, and stock rotation while minimising waste andsupporting cost-efficiency targets.

•Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to requests and resolving anyissues promptly while building strong client relationships.

What you bring:

•NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Catering & Hospitality, along with a validfood safety certificate.

•Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ideally with supervisoryresponsibilities.

•Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards.

• Apassion for delivering high-quality food, with a proactive and safety-firstmindset.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to workindependently and collaboratively within a team, delivering a customer-focusedservice.
