Part-Time Cleaner
Horncastle, Lincolnshire
£12.21 per hour
Temporary holiday cover
Start date: 7 April 2026

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to support a busy commercial site in Horncastle on a short-term holiday cover assignment.

This is a hands-on cleaning role based within a warehouse and office environment, so applicants must be comfortable with manual duties and working to high presentation standards.

Working hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am to 12:00pm
20 hours per week

Pay
£12.21 per hour

Duties will include

Cleaning warehouse areas
Moving stock and pallets as required
Cleaning kitchens, toilets and washrooms
Cleaning open-plan office areas
Cleaning breakout spaces
Cleaning boardrooms and meeting rooms
General housekeeping duties to maintain a high standard across site

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience preferred
Must be reliable and punctual
Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
Must be well presented, professional and polite at all times
Must have a good eye for detail
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Picture ID must be brought to site on arrival for security purposes

Dress code / PPE required

Safety footwear
Hi-vis vest
Black top
Black trousers
PPE safety shoes

Training required before starting
All successful cleaning operatives must complete the required pre-start training and send certificates through before any work can be carried out on site. This includes:

COSHH training
BICSc training modules including:
Understanding Colour Codes
Hand Hygiene Explained
Understanding Chemical Hazard Pictograms
Understanding PPE

This is a good opportunity for someone looking for a short-term part-time cleaning role with immediate start.
