Title: Finance Assistant

Reports to: Finance Manager

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time (0.5 FTE): 18.75 hours per week, worked 3-5 days, Monday to Friday (Pattern to be discussed in interview)

Salary: Grade 6 - £24,785 - £26,269 per annum FTE (Pro-rata for part-time) (5% employer pension contribution, Medicash and group life assurance, 27 days annual leave per annum for FTE plus bank holidays)

Location: Contractually based from our Manchester or Liverpool Office, with some flexibility to work from home, subject to business requirements and line manager approval.

Role Summary

The Finance Assistant supports the effective day-to-day financial administration of the charity. The role is responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting colleagues with financial queries.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider Finance Team, the Finance Assistant helps ensure the charity’s financial systems and processes operate efficiently and in line with organisational policies helping the charity deliver its programmes and maximise its impact.
