We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Research nurse/Clinical Trial Practitioner to join the UCL evidENT Research Team and UCLH Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals, in a role involving the delivery of high quality clinical ENT, hearing and balance research.

As a member of evidENT, you will take a proactive role in the set-up, coordination and delivery of clinical trials happening within the division, helping us drive the divisional research portfolio towards excellence in patient safety and experience, study recruitment to time and target, and the collection and recording of study data. In addition you will assist in any research-related projects within the remit of the role, working in particular with UCLH site Chief Investigators to develop study materials according to our local SOPs.

With evidENT, no two days will be the same - as well as working with a variety of patients and conditions of interest, you will work with clinicians and researchers across the division, and within the wider evidENT research team as well as the UCL Ear Institute on many different projects and studies.

In this role, the post holder will:

Maximise patient access to high quality clinical research and delivering expert care throughout participation, in particular through ensuring portfolio studies are on track to recruit to time and target.

Maintain patient safety and well-being in accordance with UK Clinical Trial Regulations.

Maintain accurate and timely written records of clinical trial activities whilst ensuring patient confidentiality.

Collect and manage clinical trial data effectively according to the principles of GCP.

Engage in and contribute to outreach, patient and colleague education activities as part of the evidENT Team.
