22 hours per week - Term Time only (38 weeks)
Fixed Term until July 2027.andnbsp; Subject to potential extension.
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our team supporting our Breakfast Club and After School Club within a friendly primary school setting. This role involves helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children before and after the school day.
The working hours are:
Breakfast Club andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;- 7:30am andndash; 9am - andnbsp;andnbsp;Monday to Friday
After school Club - 3pm andndash; 6pm -andnbsp; andnbsp;andnbsp;Monday to Thursday
andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp; andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp;andnbsp; 3pm andndash; 5.30pm Friday
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in a range of age-appropriate activities
Assist with the preparation and serving of simple, healthy snacks and breakfasts
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children at all times
Promote positive behaviour and support social development
Set up and tidy away club resources and spaces
Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with primary-aged children and have a Level 3 certificate (or be working towards)
A caring, patient, and positive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided)
A willingness to undertake relevant training, including first aid and Food Hygiene
