• Term-time only working weeks (39 weeks per year)
• Initial 3 month fixed term contract
• 1 FTE Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Pro-rata to actual working hours and weeks)
• Additional £200 Joining Bonus!

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Special Teaching Assistant to provide support for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs and Autism. This role is central to helping students access learning, build resilience, and develop the confidence and independence needed to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will support lesson preparation and delivery, contribute to monitoring and assessment, and provide tailored assistance with personal and social development. You’ll also play a key role in promoting positive relationships and modelling inclusive values throughout the school day, including during break times and transitions. Experience in a SEND or SEMH/ASD setting is desirable, alongside strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.Where available, we will always extend contracts/facilitate permanent opportunities for strong candidates following an initial fixed term contract.
