Job Title: Receptionist/Administrator
Location: Gateshead
Are you an organised, professional and people focused individual looking for your next move? We’re supporting a well established, award winning specialist services organisation based in Gateshead who are seeking a confident Receptionist/Administrator to join their fast paced head office team.
Working within a friendly, busy environment, you’ll act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also providing vital administrative support across several business functions.
The Role – Receptionist/Administrator
As the Receptionist/Administrator, you will deliver a smooth and professional front of house experience, alongside ensuring office administration is accurate, well organised and completed to a high standard.
• Front-of-House / Reception Duties
• Greeting visitors and clients, ensuring they receive a warm, professional welcome
• Managing the reception area and maintaining a tidy, organised front of house environment
• Handling incoming calls, redirecting queries and taking accurate messages
• Monitoring the reception inbox and responding to general enquiries
• Receiving, signing for and distributing incoming post and deliveries
• Supporting general office duties
• Administrative Responsibilities
• Maintaining CRM databases
• Updating internal logs, trackers and spreadsheets
• General administration duties, including stock and audit support
• Accurate data entry using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
About You
We’re looking for a Receptionist/Administrator who is:
• Confident, professional, and comfortable dealing with people at all levels
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Self motivated, proactive and reliable
