Fawkes & Reece are currently assisting an exceptional specialist contractor based in the South Coast, who are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow their business. Our client is one of the industry leading specialists in their field. With a head office based in Dorset, and a fantastic portfolio of projects covering across the South Coast region.
As BDM. you will be joining a long-standing leadership team and working closely alongside their Managing Director to grow & develop the business, the clients, scope of works & expanding the business into new sectors. Traditionally the nature of their works covers a wide variety, including health care, education, residential & MOD frameworks.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following.
- Lead the development and improvement of the business across their sector making them an industry leader
- Work alongside leading clients to strengthen key relationships and cultivate business
- Demonstrate market & industry opportunities trend for new sectors and market growth
- Proactively promote and represent the business at various events across the country
For this Business Development Manager requirements include;
- Have existing strong relationships with contractors, key clients and stakeholders.
- Proactively be able to collaborate through various departments within the business including pre-construction, Operationally & marketing.
- Experience within business development amongst the construction industry is fundamental
