Personal Assistant (Part-Time) – Female Only
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a young adult female in her day-to-day life. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping others live independently while engaging in fun and meaningful activities.
Hours & Pay
• Up to 15 hours per week
• £14 per hour
• Core hours: Thursdays and Fridays, approximately 1:00pm – 5:00pm – with the flexibility for late finishes when needed
• Additional hours may be available:
o Tuesdays – hours TBC
o Sunday evenings (2–3 hours, to support attendance at church)
• Some flexibility with hours may be required
• Mileage will be paid
About the Role
You will be supporting a friendly young woman who enjoys a variety of activities including:
• Eating out and visiting coffee shops
• Watching films (at the cinema or at home)
• Attending dance classes
• Arts and crafts
• Occasional day trips (e.g. seaside visits such as Blackpool)
The role involves both social support and some personal care.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting with planning and attending social activities and days out
• Providing companionship and encouraging independence
• Assisting with light personal care (e.g. support getting out of the shower when needed)
• Preparing simple meals
• Accompanying to appointments or outings, including church
• Bringing ideas for activities and outings
About You
• Female (genuine occupational requirement)
• Friendly, patient, and reliable
• Proactive with ideas for activities and engagement
• Comfortable providing personal care when required
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
• Business insurance for your vehicle
Additional Information
• The client has epilepsy; prior experience is not essential as full training will be provided
• This role would suit someone who is compassionate, creative, and enjoys building a positive working relationship
