We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate individual to join our Benign Urology CNS team at Southend Hospital.
In this rewarding role, you will help promote and develop the highest standards of care for patients with urological conditions. Working closely with the Urology team and wider multidisciplinary colleagues, you will play a key part in ensuring patients experience a safe, effective, and well‑coordinated pathway of care.
You will provide specialist support within the urology outpatient department and maintain strong communication with primary care services to ensure seamless, patient‑centred care across all settings.
If you have experience in urological nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional care, we would love to hear from you today!
Your role is to ensure that an individual programme of care is planned, implemented and evaluated for each patient within own sphere of responsibility, working as part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the patients.
You will contribute as a team leader in the absence of the outpatient Manager/Deputy outpatient Manager, participating in all relevant aspects of the Governance process acting as a positive role model at all times.
Your role will involve making a thorough assessment of the patient’s needs and document these in accordance with Trust policies, formulating a plan of care based on the identified needs of the patient, taking into account current evidence based research findings and ensuring that all the care planned is delivered to the patient at the highest possible standard.
Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and well-being of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.
We aim to make the most of our skills and experiences so we can become the best we can be. As one organisation we will recruit the finest and retain more specialist staff due to more employment opportunities across our Trust.
