Are you seeking a new challenge and opportunity to support vulnerable adults with learning disability and complex needs. Are you a leader with experience of leading and developing teams whether that be as a Deputy or Manager?

Working for an established provider of care and support to vulnerable people with learning disability, complex needs and mental health needs we are seeking a skilled Supported Living Manager to oversee supported living services in Workington area, Cumbria.

The role:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of supported living services for adults with learning disability.
  • Manage and support a team of care staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans tailored to each service user's needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and external agencies.
  • Promote a person-centred approach, empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals and independence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in supported living, adult social care, or a similar setting, with a strong understanding of care standards and regulations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Desire to step up into a management role is also considered.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with service users, families, and professionals.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Car driver with access to your own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to be part of the Oncall rota ( currently 1 in 4 weeks which may increase to every 6 weeks) paid at £65.00 on call allowance and to be flexible to pick up shifts where the service requires it.
  • Preferably Level 3 Health & Social Care or willingness to complete this.
