About the Role
Are you a people person who enjoys making a real difference? Calderdale Council’s Customer First team is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused superstar to support residents across our services.
In this role, you’ll:
• Be the first point of contact for customers, guiding and solving problems.
• Handle a variety of enquiries, from everyday questions to complex challenges, with full training provided.
• Grow your skills with opportunities to handle phone, live chat, email, and social media interactions.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who can:
• Communicate clearly and adapt their style to every customer.
• Solve problems quickly and confidently.
• Use technology with confidence and learn new systems with ease.
• Organise, multitask, and work accurately in a busy environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service with genuine passion.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or equivalent experience in a customer-focused role.
