Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Weekend Work | Gravesend
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Gravesend for weekend work
Job Role:- Operating a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle within the waste industry
- Carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all loads comply with legal and environmental regulations
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Working in a customer-facing role, providing a professional service
- Adhering to all company health & safety policies and procedures
- Ensuring safe use and storage of all equipment and PPE
- Saturdays: and Sundays 06:00 - 16:00
- Pay Rates: £26.49ph for Saturday and Sunday
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience with bulk carriers and articulated vehicles (essential)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
