Crynodeb
The appointee will work closely with medical and surgical consultants across a range of specialties who lead and support the development and provision of pathways for virtual care. This post will consist of both hospital and community-based sessions caring for patients in the community including those who are receiving acute level care on our virtual ward. Sessions will include review and oversight of referrals onto a range of pathways for virtual care and direct care of virtual ward patients. The appointee will also be responsible for the supervision and training of assigned junior staff, and will contribute to the teaching of medical students attached to the department and training of nursing staff, Advanced Clinical Practitioner students and allied health professionals within the Division.
