Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £100 – £130 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Recruited People are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers or experienced school support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
No teaching qualification is required. You will be provided with lesson materials and will be responsible for supervising pupils and maintaining a focused and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-set lesson work to students
Maintain good classroom behaviour and engagement
Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies
Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
Support the smooth running of the school day
Requirements
Essential:
Experience working with young people (education, youth work, coaching or similar)
Confident managing groups of students
Strong communication skills
Professional and reliable approach
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
Degree qualification (ideal for aspiring teachers)
Previous Cover Supervisor experience
Behaviour management training
Experience in secondary schools
