South Woodham Ferrers is one of Chelmsford City Council’s four leisure facilities, offering a wide range of sporting and leisure activities to the local community. Our centre’s are fast paced, customer focused environments where every member of staff plays an important role as part of a supportive and dynamic team.


We’re currently seeking qualified Assistant Swimming Instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring both children and adults. The successful applicant will support our swimming instructors in delivering our year round swimming lesson programme, helping learners build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals in the water.


Our lesson programme includes sessions for parents and babies, toddlers, juniors, and adults, running at various times throughout the week. This vacancy is offered on a casual basis, including weekends and evenings so flexibility is a must.
