Crynodeb
The Department would like to appoint a surgeon who has a broad ability in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery but with a special interest and expertise in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery. Recognised fellowship in this field is big advantage. We are an innovative department who work well together and are looking for someone to join our team. The role will not involve being on the adult 1:10 on call rota but will require the candidate to support on call cases when paediatric specialty input is required. This post may involve cross site working both at a local peripheral community hospital and the child development centre within Bury St Edmunds. In addition, we are looking to establish and arrangement with Addenbrookes Hospital to allow the appointee to attend MDT clinics as well as have opportunities to dual consultant operate on complex cases.
