Duties of this Commercial Workshop Manager role:
- Oversee workshop workflow to ensure efficient operations and timely repairs
- Monitor and maintain high standards of repair quality and safety compliance
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of skilled Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage health and safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with current regulations and company policies
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, training, and performance metrics
Requirements of this Commercial Workshop Manager role:
- Extensive experience in commercial vehicle repair and maintenance management
- Knowledge of workshop processes is highly desirable
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification, ATA accreditation, or IRTEC license preferred
- Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and lead a team to achieve objectives
- A proactive approach to health, safety, and process compliance
