Personal assistant / Care Support Worker – Direct Payment Role (Hartlepool)

We’re looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and bubbly individual to join a small, friendly team providing 24-hour, 2:1 care for a young man with a brain injury living in his own independent bungalow in Seaton Carew, Hartlepool. All care needs are fully supported in this rewarding, person-centered role.

Role Details:

Part-time hours: minimum of 48 hours per month, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts for holiday and sickness cover

Shift patterns: Choose either permanent nights or a combination of day and night shifts – flexible depending on your preference

Day shift timings: 7am - 5pm/7pm Night shift timings: 7pm - 7am

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Two weekends off per month

Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the client with personal care needs

Helping maintain a tidy and comfortable home and garden

Planning and taking part in activities, days out, and local walks

Accompanying the client to appointments

What we’re looking for:

Aged 18 or over

Friendly, reliable, and caring – essential qualities for this role

No formal experience required – full training (in role) will be provided

Experience in care (formal or informal) is a bonus but not essential

Fully flexible in terms of availability for shifts

A full UK driving license is preferred but not essential
