The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Early Years Assistant to support the care, wellbeing and learning of children at our award-winning Nursery School.
Our friendly and welcoming Centre offers seamless education, care and learning, where there are high expectations and aspirations for all children.

Permanent | Term Time Only
Hours: 11:00am andndash; 1:00pm, Monday to Friday

The post holder will work as part of the Early Years team to support children during lunchtime, promoting their wellbeing, independence and social development. This is a key part of the day where high-quality interactions, care routines and positive relationships are essential.
The role will include:
Supporting children during mealtimes in a calm and nurturing way
Encouraging independence (e.g. feeding, drinking, self-care)
Ensuring children are safe, settled and supported
Promoting positive behaviour and communication
Supporting transitions between sessionsThe post holder will contribute to the wider team by ensuring safeguarding, health, hygiene and care standards are consistently met in line with policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria
Minimum Level 2 childcare qualification (DfE approved)
Experience of working with young children (Birth to 5)
Understanding of childrenandrsquo;s care and wellbeing needs
Ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to undertake relevant trainingandnbsp;
