Salary: £12.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience) + tips
Start Date: May / June 2026 (aligned with opening)
About Us
Mzuri London is a stylish new restaurant and lounge bringing a premium Afro-Caribbean dining and nightlife experience to Thornton Heath. We are currently completing refurbishments and preparing for launch.
Role Overview
We are looking for versatile, hands-on team members who can work across the bar, restaurant floor, and support the kitchen when needed.
This is an all-rounder role, ideal for someone flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where everyone contributes to different areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and serving drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)
Taking orders and serving food to customers
Delivering excellent customer service
Supporting basic kitchen tasks (e.g. plating, simple prep when required)
Setting up, cleaning, and maintaining bar and dining areas
Assisting with stock, deliveries, and general operations
Helping ensure smooth day-to-day running of the venue
Requirements
Previous hospitality experience (bar, restaurant, or similar)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working across bar, floor, and kitchen support
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
Well-presented and professional
Right to work in the UK
Desirable
Cocktail or bar experience
Experience in busy restaurants or lounge environments
Previous experience with basic food preparation (advantageous)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
