Please see FULL job description attached Post Title:Principal Maxillofacial Prosthetist / Reconstructive Scientist Pay Band: Band 8a Hours: 35hours per week Contract: Permanent Location / Department: Worcestershire Royal Hospital Accountable to: Consultant Maxillofacial Prosthetist / Maxillofacial Laboratory Manager Reports to: Consultant Maxillofacial Prosthetist / Maxillofacial Laboratory Manager Job Summary: To deliver expert clinical, technical, advisory and scientific services to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints and prostheses To support clinical and surgical colleagues across multiple specialities, by delivering expert clinical, technical, advisory and scientific services within the scope of maxillofacial prosthetics / reconstructive science To contribute to, and initiate own, departmental research and development programmes To support and contribute to tasks which support the departments Quality Management System To support and contribute to tasks which support the departments COSHH To participate in stock control and ordering of departmental consumables To participate in teaching for the departments training programme To support and deputise for the Consultant Maxillofacial Prosthetist as required
