You will join as a Back of House Assistant supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen, food and beverage, and housekeeping teams. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and food and beverage back of house areas
- Ensure crockery, equipment, and kitchen areas meet food hygiene and safety standards
- Accept and store deliveries correctly for food and beverage outlets and housekeeping
- Support chefs and the wider team during busy service periods when required
- Assist with linen handling and housekeeping porter duties when required
- Support the movement and set-up of furniture and equipment across departments
- Follow all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times
- Carry out other reasonable duties requested by hotel management
Person Specification
- Previous cleaning or back of house experience within hospitality or a similar environment preferred
- Understanding the importance of cleanliness and hygiene within kitchen and operational areas
- Able to work across multiple back of house areas and support different departments when needed
- Positive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors and team members
- Passion for hospitality and pride in maintaining high standards
