We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across a range of client sites.
You will play a key role in completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and proactive works issued through the helpdesk, ensuring all activities meet defined timeframes and exceed customer expectations.
Job Description
We are looking for a professional engineer with strong technical ability, excellent fault-finding skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery.
You will also support wider building services tasks, maintaining compliance, safety standards, and operational performance across all equipment within scope.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver electrical PPM, reactive, and proactive maintenance tasks within agreed timeframes.
Undertake additional building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related duties.
Provide callout response as required on the agreed callout rota.
Carry out contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
Ensure all electrical equipment operates to required performance standards.
Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in line with company and client standards.
Deliver a professional service that consistently supports strong customer satisfaction.
Evaluate equipment performance and ensure correct servicing and maintenance is completed.
Liaise proactively with clients, resolving issues or escalating concerns where necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation and meet all administrative requirements.
Ensure full compliance with H&S regulations, including risk assessments and COSHH.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience in FM or building maintenance is preferred; installation and strong electrical fault-finding experience is highly beneficial.
City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2 or
City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 AM2 or
City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations Parts 1 & 2.
City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018), ideally with Amendment 2.
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 in Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
UK driving licence (required for regional travel).
