Post: 1.0WTE Band 8B Principal Clinical Neuropsychologist (Permanent)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist to work within our Trust, in partnership with Manchester Local Care Organisation (MLCO), to join an existing and well established clinical neuropsychology service to patients of the Community Neurorehabilitation/Stroke Services (CNRT/CST) in North Manchester. The post-holder will be based within North Manchester Community Services (with close links to other Clinical Neuropsychology services throughout Manchester and Greater Manchester) as part of a service level agreement between GMMH and the MLCO. You would be supported by the Consultant Lead for Neuropsychology in the Manchester Community Stroke/Neurorehabilitation pathways (who would also supervise the post holder). You would have the opportunity to deputise for the consultant lead at appropriate times.

· Provision of a high-quality clinical neuropsychology service to North Manchester community stroke and neurorehabilitation teams

· Consultation, teaching, training, supervision of non-psychology MDT colleagues

· Continuing to support the development of the neuropsychology pathway, to ensure it is safe, effective and accessible to all who might benefit from it

· Be committed to MDT working, and forge strong relationships with other team members and with service leads

· Provide day-to-day support and supervision to a full time assistant psychologist
