- Develop and implement individualised behaviour management plans to support students with diverse needs
- Provide one-on-one or small-group interventions, addressing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment
- Contribute to the creation of a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning atmosphere
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills
- Collaborate with the wider school team to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, working with students with behavioural or emotional needs
- A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to tailor support strategies to individual student needs
- Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the personal growth of young people
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
