Crynodeb
Kemnal Technology College is seeking reliable, calm and observant individuals to join our invigilation team for the Summer 2026
exam season and beyond.
Under exam conditions, you will play a vital role in upholding the integrity of the examination process and be responsible for
ensuring a quiet, stress free environment where students can perform their best. Key duties include setting up the Examination
Hall, distributing papers and supervising students to ensure all regulations are met. While not a requirement, we would welcome
anyone comfortable acting as a Scribe or Reader for students with access arrangements (please know that you will not be expected
to perform these additional tasks unless you wish to do so).
While no prior experience is required as full training is provided, exceptional punctuality and a keen eye for detail are
essential. Success in this role requires a professional manner, the ability to remain standing for extended periods and a strict
commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
We require candidates to be available in the examination window of May and June during core school hours (8.30am to 3.30pm). While
we require a firm commitment during the core examination periods, we offer a degree of flexibility as specific working days and
times can be mutually agreed upon to accommodate existing arrangements.
We reserve the right to close the vacancy early should we receive a significant number of applications.
Safeguarding
TKAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this
commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to the full safer recruitment process, including an enhanced disclosure and
barring service check.
Flexible working
TKAT recognises the value of enabling our employees to develop their career and balance this with their commitments and interests
outside of work. In TKAT we promote flexible working practices and opportunities to promote a positive work life balance.
Our Commitment - Equity, Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging
At TKAT, we are committed to Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Belonging. We embrace and celebrate differences, value individual
experiences, aspirations, and achievements, and continuously learn how to grow better together. We actively encourage applications
from candidates of all backgrounds, as we believe diversity strengthens our community and drives us forward.
Access to interview
Be Who You Are at TKAT - should you be selected and invited to interview please let us know if you require us to adapt the
recruitment process to enable you to participate as your authentic self. We want applicants to be able to engage with us in ways
that support who they are and we are committed to making adjustments within the recruitment process and within the workplace.
