As an Assistant Development Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and delivery of multidisciplinary projects—from station enhancements and civils renewals to electrification and plant upgrades. You'll work closely with Development managers, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped, developed, and delivered efficiently.

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
-Assist in the development of project scopes, feasibility studies, and option selection.
-Support stakeholder engagement, including Network Rail, local authorities, and design consultants.
-Coordinate early-stage design and planning activities across civils, stations, and electrification projects.
-Monitor programme timelines, risks, and budgets, escalating issues as needed.
-Contribute to value engineering and innovation initiatives.
-Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

About you…. (what you are skilled at)
-Degree or equivalent experience in Civil, or electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
-Strong organisational and communication skills.
-A proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
-Experience in infrastructure, rail, or construction projects working for either a contracting group or consulting engineer.
-Familiarity in project lifecycle stages and stakeholder coordination.
