MOT Tester – Daventry
Our client, a respected Vehicle Service Centre in Daventry, is actively seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join their professional team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced MOT Testers to work within a supportive environment while achieving strong earning potential.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £34,000 basic, with an OTE of £40,000
- Bonus scheme based on efficiency and quality of work
- Monday to Friday working week with 1-in-2 Saturdays (a day off during the week when working Saturday)

Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles (Class 4 & 7 only), ensuring compliance with DVSA standards
- Accurately complete all required documentation and record test findings as an MOT Tester
- Identify vehicle issues and advise customers on repair or maintenance needs
- Ensure all tests are performed in accordance with legal and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support the team with additional duties where applicable
Requirements:
- Valid MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) – essential for the MOT Tester position
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent – preferred
- Prior experience as an MOT Tester within an independent garage or main dealership
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Full UK driving licence
