Our client is seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to join their reputable team, covering the Kent region. This Business Development Manager position offers an excellent opportunity to manage large fleet accounts, expand new business, and work within a well-established organisation that values its staff.
The Business Development Manager position is ideal for a proactive sales expert with a robust background in motor trade fleet sales and business development. If you excel at nurturing client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering tailored fleet solutions.
Benefits:
- Uncapped commission potential, earning up to £60,000 OTE
- Flexible hybrid working, combining remote work with in-branch visits at Sittingbourne
- Company car, laptop, and mobile provided
- Out on the road developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for appointments
Duties as a Business Development Manager:
- Manage existing large fleet accounts with over 30 vehicles, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships across Kent and the South of England
- Present and promote a diverse portfolio of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to prospective clients
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet ambitious sales targets
- Provide bespoke fleet solutions tailored to customer needs to grow market share
- Conduct market outreach, including door-knocking, to generate new leads and retain clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience in vehicle fleet sales and business development within the motor trade industry
- Excellent relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Deep understanding of the LCV and fleet market
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently across a regional territory
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Strong record of managing large fleet accounts and driving new business growth
