A well‑established and growing manufacturing organisation in Lisburn is seeking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to support ongoing investment, process development and operational improvement across their production environment. Your new role

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for driving process excellence, improving production efficiency and supporting the introduction of new products and equipment. Your key duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase output, quality and consistency
  • Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and integrating new manufacturing methods
  • Creating and updating work instructions, SOPs and production documentation
  • Leading continuous improvement activities using Lean tools and problem‑solving techniques
  • Analysing production data to identify root causes and efficiency opportunities
  • Providing hands‑on engineering support to production teams
  • Collaborating with Design, Quality, Maintenance and H&S teams to support operational performance


What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree or HND in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support shop‑floor activities
  • Experience with CAD or manufacturing software is advantageous
