Teaching assistant - SEND School
Salary: £23,490 (SCP4) to £24,246 (SCP6) per year
At TeacherActive, we are proud to be working with a fantastic SEND school in Nottinghamshire who are currently recruiting for a full time teaching assistant for a temp to perm position starting as soon as possible.
In order to be successful for this role you must have:
• Experience working in a SEND school environment or a other relevant educational setting
• Experience working with children with ASD / young people with additional needs (e.g SEND, behavioural, SEMH)
• Experience of delivering phonics education.
• A passion for working closely with children in a relevant setting.
• Ability to stay calm and patient and understanding.
• Ability to work with the students both 121 and in small groups.
