What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Melbourne Infant School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will work within one of our EYFS classes and will be working with a child with special educational needs; helping them to develop their learning and work towards their educational targets; supporting the EYFS unit and working collaboratively within a friendly and supportive team.It would be preferable if candidates have had some experience of working with children with special educational needs.

Above all, we are looking for someone with a caring nature who will be able to implement a range of strategies following a provision plan, to ensure the child’s personal, social and emotional learning needs are met.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, and have experience of working with primary school aged children.
