What skills and experience we're looking for
The Headteacher and Trustees of Worth Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated part-time Primary Teaching Assistant who has high expectations for all pupils to join our hardworking and friendly team.
The appointment is temporary because the role is linked to external funding.Employment will continue until the said child leaves the school or for any other reason no longer requires your support, or when the funding linked to the child no longer exists, when it will expire with notice.
The position will comprise of 1:1 or small group working with children in Key Stage 1 who require support regulating their emotions as well as accessing their education in and out of the classroom. Candidates must be flexible, able to use their initiative and possess a good sense of humour for working with young children. Our goal is for every child to reach their potential so we are seeking someone special who will strive to help children to reach their goals regardless of their barriers to learning.
Previous experience of working in a primary school setting would be advantageous but not compulsory.
