The Best Connection Kidderminster are recruiting for a Guillotine Operator for our long time client in Kidderminster. The role offers regular shifts Monday to Friday with a chance of becoming permanent after a 12 week trial period.
Pay rate & Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 6am-12pm
- £13 per Hour
- Temp to Perm
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up guillotines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings to produce accurate parts.
- Cut various sheet metal types and sizes to required specifications.
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet tolerance standards.
- Complete production documentation (e.g., route cards, permits).
- Report defects, material issues, and safety concerns.
- Maintain high quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in sheet metal/fabrication (guillotine experience preferred).
- Ability to read CAD drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and measurement skills.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
- Physically capable and able to work independently or in a team.
