Gas Service Engineer

Are you a skilled Gas Service Engineer looking for your next career move? Our client, a leading Heating and Compliance firm, is seeking talented professionals to join their team in Portsmouth

Location: Portsmouth
Job Type: 8 - 10 services per day
Hours: £25 per service (After 8 services completed you will receive £250 + £25 per additional service after)
Benefits: Company van, fuel card & excellent benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and maintain domestic heating systems.
• Ensure all work complies with gas safety regulations and specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
• Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
• Adhere to health & safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Report accidents, near-miss events, or hazards.
• Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant craft qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• ACS Qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
• LPG, Unvented Oil, Solar, and Renewable/ASHP qualifications (desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of gas legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Understanding of health & safety best practices.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with the public.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
