Exciting new opportunity to work for a consultancy in central London as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
About the role of Assistant
Our client is a large consultancy with an outstanding group turnover of nearly 7 billion! They are an engineering Construction Business, and they started in ultities and have grown into working in multiple sectors - Life science, Manufacturing, healthcare, Aviation, Data Centres, Power and Commercial. They have many projects in Ireland and in London with lots coming up! They also have a great staff turnover.
They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a minimum 2 years experience in quantity surveying, commutable distance to London a construction related degree!
Responsibilities for Assistant
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for projects
- Support tendering processes
- Monitor project costs vs budget
- Help administer contracts
- Assist in valuing completed work
Requirements for Assistant
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Familiarity with contracts
- Minimum 2 years experience in quantity surveying
- Commutable distance to London
Construction related degree
