New Business Development Manager - North
Location: Mobile Worker covering the North region
Salary: £75,194 per annum

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a New Business Development Manager to join our Delivery Development team here at Housing 21.

This is a target-driven role responsible for identifying, initiating, and appraising a range of projects that support the delivery of Housing 21’s business growth strategy.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the new business development process. You will be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues across the organisation, as well as external stakeholders, and act as the primary point of contact for operational teams and partners.

What We’re Looking For

Essential requirements for the role include:

• Strong specialist knowledge of the early-stage New Business Development process within the social housing sector
• Demonstrable experience and a proven track record of securing affordable housing developments
• End-to-end project delivery experience, managing the full lifecycle from concept and design through to completion and post-implementation review
• Knowledge of development financial and risk appraisals
• Understanding of Homes England procedures and funding mechanisms
• Knowledge and experience of the operating environment for Registered Providers
• Experience and understanding of specialist housing for older people
• A relevant qualification at degree level or equivalent
