Breakfast Club Assistant
2 days, 2 hours per week (Tuesday and Thursday 7.30am – 8.30am)

JOB OVERVIEW An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to assist with the wrap around care at Barnett Wood Infant School, which provides a safe and caring environment where children can enjoy a range of play and learning activities. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. There is also potential for candidates to help in our After School Club (see separate advert). JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Implement play programs that develop learning and social skills.
• Provide a varied safe and stimulating play environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare nutritional snacks for the children; ensure that snack times are a time of pleasant social sharing and orderly.
• Ensure that children’s medical, allergy and dietary requirements are met.
• Be vigilant about safety and make sure children are collected by a designated adult.
• Uphold the high standards of the Club at all times.WHAT WE OFFER: • Term-time hours.
