Job Introduction
Sodexo is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef Supervisor to support and lead the delivery of high-quality catering services. In this role, you will oversee the full food lifecycle—from goods receipt and storage through to preparation and service—ensuring exceptional standards, outstanding customer service, and full compliance with food safety, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

What you’ll do:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness from delivery through to service.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health, safety, environmental regulations, and complete all HACCP documentation.
- Supervise and support the catering team, delegating tasks and promoting a positive, professional working environment.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring areas are clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
- Support ordering, stock control, and rotation while monitoring waste and contributing to profit targets.
- Deliver excellent customer service, handling requests and complaints promptly while building strong client relationships.
Whatyou bring:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Catering & Hospitality and a valid food safety certificate.
- Proven experience in a busy kitchen, ideally with supervisory responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Passion for high-quality food and a proactive, safety-first approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, delivering a customer-focused service.
