Hitchin, Royston & Letchworth – Multi-Site Work

We’re currently recruiting experienced Pipefitters for a temporary opportunity working across multiple commercial refurbishment sites in Hitchin, Royston and Letchworth. This is a great chance to secure ongoing work with a reputable contractor, with immediate starts available.

  Pay Rates:

  • Standard rate: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

    
    

    Hours / Shift Pattern:

    • Monday to Friday

      
      

    • Full-time 0730-1630

      
      

      Contract Type:

      • Temporary

        
        

        Key Responsibilities:

        • Installing pipework systems including heating, cooling, and hot & cold water

          
          

        • Connecting and fitting boilers, pumps, and heat exchangers

          
          

        • Installing HVAC pipework such as fan coil units and air handling units

          
          

        • Pressure testing pipework systems

          
          

        • Reading and working from technical drawings and schematics

          
          

          Essential Requirements:

          • Proven commercial pipefitting experience (not just domestic or social housing)

            
            

          • Valid CSCS card (required for site access)

            
            

          • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services – Pipefitting (or equivalent)

            
            

          • JIB Gold Card

            
            

            Other Requirements:

            • PASMA/IPAF tickets beneficial
