Are you passionate about sport and have the energy and enthusiasm to inspire others?
YMCA Newark & Sherwood Activity and Community Village is looking for motivated Casual Sports Leaders to deliver fun, engaging, and
inclusive sports sessions for children, young people, and adults.
As a Casual Sports Leader, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of sports activities, from games and
coaching sessions to small tournaments, ensuring every participant feels included, supported, and motivated.
Your role will go beyond leading sessions—you’ll help create a positive and welcoming environment, encourage participation and
teamwork, and act as a role model for members of all ages and abilities.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised sports coaching or leadership qualification and have experience delivering sports
activities, particularly with children and young people. A passion for inclusion is key, and experience supporting or coaching
individuals with disabilities would be highly desirable.
