We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to support and manage our mobile team of KAN front-line Cleaning Placemakers.
This role is essential in ensuring high operational standards across multiple sites, maintaining excellent service delivery, and supporting colleagues to perform at their best.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who can confidently oversee day-to-day operations, build strong relationships with customers and staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
This is a mobile position, requiring regular planned visits and a proactive approach to supervision and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day supervisory management of KAN front-line Cleaning Placemakers.
Conduct regular planned visits to each Placemaker (minimum every 6 weeks).
Assist the Sector Manager with recruitment and vetting, ensuring full compliance and vacancies filled within 48 hours.
Ensure Placemakers follow company procedures and policies in line with the Employment Handbook.
Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
Oversee consumable stock control and ensure storerooms remain tidy and well maintained.
Conduct audits according to agreed frequencies.
Ensure correct use of T&A systems and manage training or performance issues where required.
Complete fortnightly payroll for each employee.
Ensure holiday and absence coverage using approved agency suppliers, maintaining agreed SLA performance.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor is essential.
Strong knowledge of cleaning operations and related activities.
Understanding of end-to-end work order management.
Ability to communicate effectively with and support front-line colleagues.
Strong customer focus with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-centric solutions.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, including experience managing remote teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders.
