Children and Families Newcastle brings services together so they can support children and families to get the help that they want and need. Children and families can access different services and activities in buildings they know in their local area. Enabling children, young people and families only have to tell their story once, and get the support they need, when they need it.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Project Worker 2 to join our Family Hub team and help deliver high‑quality, early‑help support to families across Newcastle. Is this you?
About the Role
As a Project Worker 2, you will play a key role in supporting children, young people and families who would benefit from early help. You'll work closely with partners across the Family Hub network to deliver targeted interventions, run group activities, and promote positive outcomes. Could this be you?
Could you;
Provide one‑to‑one support to children, young people and parents/carers?
Deliver evidence‑based programmes and group activities within the Family Hub?
Work collaboratively with partners such as health, education, social care, and the voluntary sector?
Undertake assessments and develop family‑centred plans?
Use a strengths‑based, trauma‑informed approach in all interactions?
Promote engagement with the Family Hub and wider community services?
Maintain accurate, timely records in line with safeguarding and data requirements?
Are you;
Passionate about improving outcomes for children and families?
Skilled at building positive, trusting relationships?
Experienced in delivering early‑help, youth work, family support or community services?
Confident in facilitating groups and delivering structured programmes?
Knowledgeable about safeguarding and early‑help processes?
Adaptable, proactive and able to work independently within a multi‑agency team?
Committed to inclusion, equality and empowering families?
