We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing nursery setting in Enfield. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, offering a fantastic opportunity to support young children in their early development within a warm and supportive environment.

This well-established nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and inclusive space where children can learn, play, and grow. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education and care, with a strong focus on supporting each child’s individual needs and development.
The Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily running of the nursery and helping to create a positive and engaging environment for children.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5 years
Assisting with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Promoting a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children
Supporting children’s personal care routines, including feeding, toileting, and hygiene
Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Observing and recording children’s progress where required
Assisting with setting up and tidying away activities and resources
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working with young children (nursery or early years setting preferred)
A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years) is desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or be willing to obtain one
Full availability Monday to Friday is essential
