In this role, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons to small classes, allowing for a tailored approach that addresses both academic and emotional development. You will be part of a holistic, multi-disciplinary team focused on helping every child reach their full potential .
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across the curriculum (Primary or Secondary depending on the specific role) .
Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional regulation .
Build strong, positive relationships with students to understand their individual barriers to learning .
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists (such as CBT, Play, or Speech and Language therapists), and the pastoral team .
Track and monitor student progress against individual learning goals and EHCP outcomes .
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential .
Experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or other complex needs (in either a mainstream or specialist setting) .
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, proactive, and resilient approach .
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and a commitment to inclusive education .
Excellent interpersonal skills to work as part of a collaborative team .
