Vehicle Technician – Hereford

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in the Hereford area, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians looking to progress their careers within a professional and supportive environment.

Duties:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings effectively to the Service Manager
- Ensure all work performed meets strict quality and safety procedures
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for vehicle maintenance, safety, and reliability
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Assist with vehicle inspections and MOT testing (preferred but not essential, full training provided)
- Support team objectives and contribute to a positive workshop environment

Requirements as a Vehicle Technician:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- Proven experience working in a franchised dealership environment
- Strong technical skills with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Motivated individual with excellent teamworking skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop and achieve targets
- Ideally hold an active MOT licence (training provided if not)
