Our client, a reputable volume main dealership in Worthing, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team. Benefits:
- Up to £30,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Circa £35,000 OTE potential

- Comprehensive manufacturer training and ongoing development

- Regular hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30

Duties:
- Servicing vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines
- Diagnosing faults and accurately identifying necessary repairs
- Replacing faulty components and repairing mechanical systems
- Conducting MOT Testing in line with legal requirements
- Advising the Service Reception team on repair work and estimated costs
- Producing accurate time estimates for repairs
- Maintaining detailed repair and service records
- Ensuring all work is carried out to manufacturers’ and industry standards
- Testing repaired systems to confirm quality and safety
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence
- MOT licence is essential
- Own comprehensive set of tools
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in a dealership or similar environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
